A private health record, in your pocket.

Your GP holds one part of your story. Each specialist holds another. Nobody holds the whole thing.

Platypus brings your health records together in one private vault on your phone, turns the medical codes into words you can read, and lets you share your story on your terms. It stays yours.

Get early access In early testing on iPhone, with Android planned. Not in the app stores yet.

Yours in three moves

Under the hood it aggregates, reasons and shares. What that means for you: you own it, you understand it, you use it.

01Own

Platypus gathers records from every doctor and lab you connect, plus what you add yourself, into an encrypted vault on your phone. No company copy, and it moves with you.

because it aggregates
02Understand

One medication list instead of five, results as trends, your history as a timeline, plain words instead of codes, and flags worth asking your GP about.

because it reasons
03Use

Bring it into the room: show it at reception, send a secure link ahead, hand over a readable summary, or send a patient note to your GP's system, with your additions clearly marked as yours.

because it shares, on your terms

What Platypus does for you

One list, not five

Every doctor who prescribes for you keeps their own list. Platypus puts them together, so you can see what you are actually taking now, and how many repeats are left.

Flags worth asking about

Platypus checks new medicines against the allergies and reactions in your record and raises a flag when something is worth a question. It never replaces your GP or pharmacist. It helps you ask them better questions.

Words, not codes

Medical records are written in codes. Platypus translates them into plain words, using the same national dictionary your doctors use.

Your results, as trends

Blood tests become graphs you can follow over the years, not a stack of PDFs. Your history reads as a timeline of what happened, with the turning points marked: “Started”, “New condition”, “Abnormal result”.

Add what only you know

Start with nothing connected at all. Enter your Medical ID, allergies, medicines, conditions and emergency contact yourself, and they are treated as first-class records.

Backed up, recoverable

If your phone is lost, your record is not. An encrypted backup can be restored with a recovery code that only you hold.

When your records disagree, you decide

The same allergy can arrive from two clinics with different details. Platypus never silently picks a winner or shows you doubles: it shows exactly which detail differs and lets you choose what your record says.

This is something no single clinic's system can do, because no single clinic holds all your versions. You do.

Your record, not just a view of it

You know things your files do not. Platypus treats you as a contributor: create, correct, annotate, and take it back to your care team.

CREATE

Start records of your own

Home blood pressure, symptoms you are tracking, a new allergy. Your entries go into your vault as real records, marked as yours, for your own tracking and ready to share.

EDIT

Fix what's wrong

Correct any record in your vault, whether you entered it or it came from a clinic. Your version lives safely on your phone and never overwrites the clinic's copy.

ANNOTATE

Add your own notes

Attach a personal note to any medicine, result or condition. How it made you feel, what the doctor said, what to ask next time.

SEND

Take it back to your GP

Show your record in person, send a secure link, or, where their system supports it, send a note into your GP's system. It is always clearly labelled as written by you, never disguised as clinical data, and you can see whether it arrived.

Private, in the strongest sense

Your record lives in an encrypted vault on your phone. There is no company copy. Your data never leaves the device without your say.

And it is yours to move. Your record is not tied to one clinic, one company, or one kind of phone. Platypus is built to run across platforms (iPhone and Android), and your record travels with you in a standard format any health system can read.

  • Unlocked with your face, fingerprint or passcode
  • Locks itself the moment you switch apps
  • AES-256 encryption, with the key sealed in your phone's secure chip
  • Works fully offline. No data harvesting, no collection.

Share your story, your way

Seeing a new doctor, heading into hospital, or keeping family in the loop: you choose exactly what goes in, and send it as a secure link or a readable PDF.

Links are encrypted so only the person you send them to can open them. Anything you entered yourself is clearly marked as yours.

One day

Australia's My Health Record holds a large share of your history. Making it readable and useful is where Platypus is heading, once connection is possible. Today, Platypus connects to modern clinic and lab systems.
